That is the dog I remember. They later owned a small, black curly haired mutt named Bitty. Grandma named him after the Kibbles and Bits dog food. They adopted a raccoon named Mobley who first lived at Gnaw Bone Camp. He lived outside in a hollowed out log stuck in the fork of a tree right outside the porch. Mobley eventually disappeared, hopefully returning wild. And last but not least, all the birds and squirrels in the woods were his pets. Paul always made sure the wild animals had food.
