And Peleg Hathaway, Nathan Sherman, and William Reed of Middleborough. The town of Savoy does not start showing up on maps until 1825.

	I cannot find Nathan in the 1840 Census. He may have been living with his daughter Rebecca Whiting. The 1840 census shows a male between 60 and 69 living in the Whiting household) and Nathan's wife was living with Rebecca in the 1850 census.

This indenture made the 7th day of November A.D. 1830 between Danfort h Whiting of Columbia in the County of Bradford and State of Pennsylva nia of the first part and Nathan Sherman late of Massachusetts now o f said Columbia Township of records tract ??? that for and in consider ation of three hundred dollars received to the full satisfaction of sa id Danforth Whiting of said Nathan Sherman hath ??? granted and to far m let and by these presents doth ??? grant and to farm let unto the sa id Nathan Sherman his heirs executor administrator or ??? a certain fa rm or tract of land lying in Columbia ??? ??? about one hundred and fo urteen acres bounded on the North by Hiram Mason. On the west by land s of Pliver Besley, on the south by lands of Wm. Gar???, on the East b y land of Casper Clay Garmort whereon the said Danforth Whiting now li ves, having a ??? house ??? ???, and all other ??? thereunto belongin g in as large and ample a manner as the said premises has heretofore b een enjoyed by said Danforth Whiting. To leave and to hold all of th e said ??? of ground or farm of lands with ?????? the day of the dat e hereof until the fild ?? and ??? of the natural life os said Natha n Sherman and Rebecca his wife and it is also agreed by the parties af oresaid that the Said Danforth Whiting is to support and maintain sai d Nathan Sherman and Rebecc ahis wife in a manner ??? to their conditi on to supply them with every ??? ??? of victuals drink lodging ?? an d occupy the ??? above mentioned during their natural lives and in cas e ??? to provide for them as above required according to their conditi on in life, the said Danforth Whiting is to have the said premises an d said Nathan Sherman to occupy therin at his ??? to gain their suppor t therefour until the full ??? natural lifes of ?? the said Nathan She rman and Rebecca his wife ??? the said Danforth Whiting hand and sea l the day aforesaid.
