  1. 2.  Paul Sherman LorenzPaul Sherman Lorenz was born on 26 Nov 1916 in Indianapolis, Marion, Indiana, USA (son of Frederick Graham Lorenz and Bessie Lucille Sherman); died on 16 Oct 2015 in Nashville, Brown, Indiana, USA; was buried on 24 Oct 2015 in Washington Park North Cemetery.

    Other Events and Attributes:

    • Pet: Paul owned numerous pets over his life. He had a dog named Tag, possibly a Schnauzer mix. He raised two baby raccoons. When he was married he had a black lab named Nicky. That is the dog I remember. They later owned a small, black curly haired mutt named Bitty. Grandma named him after the Kibbles and Bits dog food. They adopted a raccoon named Mobley who first lived at Gnaw Bone Camp. He lived outside in a hollowed out log stuck in the fork of a tree right outside the porch. Mobley eventually disappeared, hopefully returning wild. And last but not least, all the birds and squirrels in the woods were his pets. Paul always made sure the wild animals had food.
